Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC – Modernized UWP Apps
This is a custom Windows 11 LTSC 24H2 image designed to bring back the modern Windows app experience while keeping the performance and clean baseline that LTSC is known for. It replaces several classic Win32 system tools with their modern UWP equivalents and includes a curated set of core apps that many users expect on a daily driver build.
This edition is ideal if you like the stability and “less clutter” approach of LTSC, but still want modern productivity tools and a more current Windows experience without having to manually reinstall everything after every deployment.
What’s Modernized?
The following classic Win32 apps are replaced with their modern UWP versions:
- Calculator
- Notepad
- Paint
- Snipping Tool
Included Apps and Components
This build also includes a set of modern essentials out of the box:
- DesktopAppInstaller (includes winget)
- Windows Terminal
- Photos (modern Photos app)
- Media Player (modern media player experience)
- Xbox app
In addition, the following media and image extensions are preinstalled to ensure broad format compatibility:
- AV1 Video Extension
- HEIF Image Extension
- HEVC Video Extension
- VP9 Video Extension
- WebP Image Extension
Microsoft Store Support
Microsoft Store is not bundled by default, but it can be installed easily after setup:
