How to Install Brutal Doom Using GZDoom

This guide covers everything you need to know in order to get Brutal Doom working on GZDoom for Windows.

UPDATE: As a courtesy I have compiled everything you need, and it’s all in once place! The download includes GZDoom, Brutal Doom v21, Doom 1, 2, and Sigil. All you have to do is download the .zip, extract it, and play the game.

Navigate to Click and Play Instructions for more information.

1.) Download – Brutal Doom v21 Click and Play

• Extract the compressed .zip archive
• Open the BrutalDoom_v21 folder

2.) Read the “PLEASE READ.txt” file

3.) Double-click “Play Brutal Doom_v21” or “Play Brutal Doom_v21 Sigil”

Click the following on the SmartScreen popup: More info -> Run anyway.

4.) Configure the controls

• WASD

• Mouse Look

Brutal Doom v21 Click and Play (Now includes Sigil)

GZDoom
Brutal Doom Mod
Doom 1 and 2 WAD Files
